This is AMAZING! I watched the whole of the video right until the awards... Where the hell was yours?! Yours was the best by FAR i was so upset you didn't win.. They obviously just chose their favourites or don't appreciate true skills and insight!

So this is a pinky/mauvy with white spots fabric that I thought might make a nice dress... So I made the dress and I like it
It has a green embroidered ribbon attached to it around the waist to tie around in a bow...
I'll probably make this again, next time I'll have the waistband a bit lower because it was slightly over my ribs and makes me look chubby!
Anyway here it is...



For a christmassy look I paired it with sheer white spotty tights and fur trimmed boots...




& Yes, I do need to iron the hem and I will as soon as I get an iron

I love lace. It's official!
I found some lace with daisies on it and immediately knew which fabric to pair it with and what to make!

I made this from adapting a pattern I used for my african print top...

I made a top out of some fabric my Aunt & Uncle brought me from South Africa!
I LOVE the print, I think the fabric is beautiful!
I used a free Burda pattern that I printed off at home:

It was pretty annoying sticking the pieces together because the lines were very faint, so I went over them in a Sharpie pen first and then cut out and stuck!

The bodice has darts, front & back but is very simple and easy to make

I used bias binding for the neck and arm holes and inserted an open zip in the back...
