11  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Re: I made my prom dress...a BIG pink one (UPDATED w/ Details) on: October 25, 2011 12:26:04 PM
You looked great and it's very pretty. I have no patience for hand beading.
12  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: HELP with Wonder Woman boots?! Dyeing/Coloring Stretch Pleather on: September 27, 2011 07:59:40 AM
Have you considered Boot covers? I've had to use them before.
13  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Halloween Costume Ideas? on: September 27, 2011 07:56:04 AM
The hat would be easy enough, you could simply make a tight hood. For the googles I suggest painting a pair of swim goggles and removing the plastic band.
14  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Mermaid costume .... please help suggestions etc on: September 27, 2011 07:50:54 AM
I would suggest the following treatments.

A. No long skirt or tail, if your working in a bar the floor might be dirty. I plan on being a mermaid as well except I'm doing mine as a skirt and top. I would think that maybe a pair of shorts with accessories might work out better if you have to work. Take a pair of green shorts and add some kelp or flair out the sides with fluttery material. That way your both comfortable and can move easily.

B. Shoes, your going to be working so these should be comfortable as possible. I would suggest low green heels or even high boots.

Lolz that looks like all the patterns in my pattern box. Their all for 1980-something.
Love the dress.
17  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: TO THE BAT DRESS!!!! (a bit pic heavy...) on: June 13, 2011 12:39:35 PM
You would think with all the batman made things, that they would have loads of it in craft stores. I usually end up with old batman sheets.

Also, is your camera set to time travel?  Tongue

LOLZ, ya I tried to change it once and got so lost in the settings I gave up. It's awesome, friend's are always saying how good they looked back then.

Thanks for the nice comments, Next up Legend of Zelda hoodie.

20  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Awesomely T-shirt Hurley Hoodie! Now w/added Zelda awesome-ness. ** on: May 23, 2011 03:29:08 PM
I made this lovely jacket for my little brother who is as of late becoming far more of a bigger brother than a little brother. Him and I both have a love for the color black and so I used some scrap tweed I had in my craft room.
Now to deal with the 57+ some odd other fabric I have floating around.

**
So I decided to finally make my Zelda hoodie!

* Note my horrid Hair...It just came out of my pony tail like that.

Cause it's awesome.

I love HOODZ!

A few in process pics and a good look at the X stitching I did on the hood and the rest of it.
