1 Hang On Little Tomato in Needlework: Completed Projects by HarmlessEccentric on: January 06, 2013 06:13:49 AM

One of my girlfriend's favorite songs is Pink Martini's "Hang On Little Tomato."

I made this sampler as a gift for her. Because love.

If you want the chart, it's on my blog at http://contentedreader.com/2013/01/06/hang-on-little-tomato.

2 This is my happening, and it freaks me out. in Needlework: Completed Projects by HarmlessEccentric on: July 23, 2012 12:58:12 PM
I used a quote from the movie "Return to the Valley of the Dolls" and a pattern from the Antique Pattern Library, and I made this.

I put the chart up at my blog if anyone wants a copy of it.

3 The things that make us happy make us wise in Needlework: Completed Projects by HarmlessEccentric on: September 05, 2011 04:46:07 PM
So, I made this. The quotation is from Little, Big, John Crowley's fabulous novel about family of people living on the gateway of the world the fairies come from. The image is from the Antique Pattern Library. The chart is on my blog if you'd like it.

4 Money Can't Buy You Love (PG-13) in Needlework: Completed Projects by HarmlessEccentric on: August 13, 2011 10:32:45 AM
Here's the romantic sampler I've been working on. I think it might make a nice divorce gift. The text is from Beau Sia's poem, "A Little-Known Truth About Financial Success." If you want them, I've put the charts on my blog.

5 May Cthulhu eat this house last in Needlework: Completed Projects by HarmlessEccentric on: July 30, 2011 05:51:01 AM

I made this for a friend's housewarming. The image is a stylized version of her new house, the caption is a reference, as I'm sure you already know, to the elder god who will inevitably rise from the sea to plunge the world into horror and madness. Perhaps I should have wished for her to be eaten first, and spared the nightmares that await, but my friend is something of a procrastinator.

I don't suppose the charts will be of much use, since this piece is sort of specific to my friend's actual house, but if you want them, I've put them on my blog.

6 E-Reader case in Completed Projects by HarmlessEccentric on: December 28, 2010 04:05:32 PM

I made this case for my Sony Pocket Reader out of a copy of a Lemony Snicket book. I did feel a little guilty about killing a book, but my guilt was eased by choosing a popular book that I already own (with the words in).

7 The planets: coaster series in Needlework: Completed Projects by HarmlessEccentric on: April 24, 2010 05:13:00 PM

This is a set of nine beverage coasters, each showing the planets. I'm excited, because this is the first time I've designed my own cross-stitch patterns instead of using a book or pamphlet, and frankly, I think they came out pretty darned well for my first try. I'm already working on my next project... now that I have have MacStitch, my brain is just bubbling with ideas. Sure, they take a long time to execute, but that's not a problem, since I plan to live forever.

You can't quite see Jupiter in this photo, I realize. I have individual photos of each of them and also patterns, just in case anyone wants them- I've put all of that up on my blog for anyone who wants them.

Man! I want to see that organization! I usually have little pieces left here and there.

Well, since you ask, I DO have a digital camera handy.
