1  Georgia / Georgia: Central / Re: Atlanta- Metro Area on: March 28, 2008 12:54:48 PM
In the Decatur area:

Bazillions of Beads by Shoshanna
(404) 329-1988
620 Medlock Rd
Decatur, GA 30033
This is at the intersection of North Decatur, Scott and Medlock; in the same shopping center as Melton's App & Tap, around the corner in between the Natural Buzz Salon and the Woodshed.  Hard to find but worth it.

Amalgam Arts
3172 E Ponce de Leon Ave.
Scottdale, GA 30079
p: (404) 371 8922
I pass this every day on my way to the MARTA station, but have never stopped to look in.  Looks like they have classes in jewelry making, woodworking and other things in addition to art & crafts for sale.
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Handbag tutorial on: September 14, 2006 08:03:47 AM
I hate to be the one to point this out, but essentially this is just Jordy's "Jordy Bag" tutorial, except with the lining showing at the top edge.

4  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: With the best material on: September 13, 2006 06:12:14 AM
When I looked at it, I thought $60.    I agree, don't sell yourself short.  Someone looking for a $20 purse won't appreciate the hard work and beautiful materials that went into that piece.
5  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Screen Printing: Discussion and Questions / Re: printing with bleach? on: September 12, 2006 10:31:51 AM
Just a warning - when bleach comes into contact with metal, it's pretty corrosive!
6  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Re: cloth blinds/curtains? on: September 08, 2006 11:54:22 AM
I have a great book on sewing your own window treatments, but it's at home...and I'm not.
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Re: HUGE bead storage PROBLEM!!! on: September 08, 2006 11:51:32 AM
The big hardware containers with the clear-front drawers work well, and to move them, I would recommend wrapping the whole thing several times with Saran Wrap or another clingy plastic wrap - it's a common trick for moving things with drawers or moving shelves that still have things on them.
8  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: Where can I find awesome/edgy/not cutesy charms & embellishments? on: September 01, 2006 08:14:59 AM
www.bluemud.com has just about everything, cutesy, edgy and otherwise.
9  CLOTHING / Clothing Sewalongs / Re: quickie dress that anybody can make on: July 25, 2006 08:54:42 AM
One of the other sites also shows a similar style using one of the neck-wire style necklaces.
10  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Altoid tin theme swap Round 2 Gallery. on: July 25, 2006 06:38:04 AM
EEeee!  Digitalkitten, I love it!  It's especially perfect since I work in Emergency Preparedness, and coffee is a must-have, so an Emergency Coffee Kit is great!  My officemate will think that's hysterical.
