Gorgeous!
How did you do your spiral quilting?  It is amazing!

I started with my darning foot, and free motion quilted the middle 20cm/8in, then switched to my walking foot Smiley . It's probably the first quilt I have managed to finish without any puckers on the back - AND I used fleece for the backing!
9  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Log Cabin Playmat on: April 19, 2012 11:59:34 PM
I needed a quick, easy project to work on while my husband was overseas for two weeks.

Here is my version of the Baby Log Cabin Quilt, as found on sew mama sew

Took one night to piece, and about 6hours for the spiral quilting Smiley
10  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: 12 Quilt Projects in 2012 Along on: April 19, 2012 11:28:00 PM
No.6 for the year! Also posted in the 50 projects, sorry to everyone who is seeing this twice Wink
It's approx 42in square, found the project via pinterest, and used the sizes as recommended on a sew, mama, sew tute - needed something easy to work on Smiley

I thought the spiral quilting *might* take me an hour or two, but it ended up being over 6!!  I finally finished hand sewing on the binding last night and it is done...yay!
