1  My First Wallet. in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by candicecobain on: August 06, 2009 04:14:50 PM
I'd been wanting to make a wallet for a while now, but I didn't know how to make it, or what to make it out of. So, the other day I just started to experiment with some old denim that I cut off my pants. I hand sewed it, which I found out is REALLY hard to do. Then, I doodled and wrote random lyrics all over it with Sharpies. I love the way it turned out.

the cute little bear made by julieboolie. (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=312923.0)

now meet his loving sister, courtney love!

i started him at 6am, but unlike julie, i fell asleep. so i ended up finishing her the next day. then my step-sister ripped the head off...so i had to sew it back on. so i'm just now getting around to posting her on here.

she's made from pink acrylic yarn. i stuffed her with old pillow stuffing and her eyes and nose are puffy paint. for her hair, i just tied black together and used purple yarn for the bow, then sewed it to the top of her head.

and i named her courtney love because my cat, kurt cobain, hates her. (:

My first crocheted creation. It turned out too small for me though.

Here's the pattern I used: http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/visoppskrift.php?d_nr=93&d_id=22&lang=en
