2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / My first baby blanket (and post!) on: February 03, 2010 06:23:25 PM
Whew....so nervous to be posting this. I consider myself fairly crafty but I'm crafty along the lines of getting stuff falf finished and then it sits where-ever taunting me.

I whipped together this baby blanket for my fiancee's niece-to-be...The daddy-to-be(DTB) really wanted a little boy who would go out in the garage with him, and who would be a diesel mechanic just like him. I wanted to make a blanket that would let DTB know that girls like that stuff to. Mommy-to-be loved it and DTB thought it was terrific. Considering I sewed it together without really knowing what I was doing...and finished it at 1am the night before the baby shower...I was pretty proud.  Smiley

Without further ado...the blanket. yay!

Anyways just to let you all know, I am so inspired by everything you all do. You guys have had a hand in at least a dozen of my WIPS!!
