Regards to the cotton, what if it's been prewashed? I always prewash and iron my fabrics so I'm guessing the shrinking won't be a problem?
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / How to copy this draped ruffle front neckline? on: July 20, 2010 09:15:21 AM
The other day I was in Macy's admiring all their fancy (expensive) tops and of course, I came upon quite a few tops that I wanted for myself, and of course, I couldn't afford them. So I'm trying to recreate them for wayy less.

First up is this draped ruffle top
http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=470182&CategoryID=43325
I also remember a dress that Hanna from Pretty Little Liars wore that I LOVE
http://www.shopbop.com/waterfall-ruffle-dress-rebecca-taylor/vp/v=1/845524441870145.htm?folderID=2534374302023845&extid=affprg-3438264-REBEC2052312094

So I think I'd like to make something in between but as a top, if only I knew how!
I may be wrong but I think the ruffles start out as circles or something, idk. PLEASE help out this clueless girl
10  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Decoupaged Notebook on: July 01, 2010 08:00:43 PM
I'm going to an enrichment program this summer. For one class my teacher wanted us to decorate the front side of our notebooks and at the end of the program we decorate the back to see how our ways of thinking has changed. This is what I came up with :

It's my first time doing this kind of thing, but I like it and I think I'll do it more.
I'd appreciate your C&Cs
Btw I would really like it if people sent me old magazines, preferably fashion Wink so if anybody is willing, please msg me.
