the resin is poured onto the wood in layers and it adheres very well to it, i use painters tape around the edge to form the 'mold', then sand the edge of the resin to finish it off.

the neat thing about this resin is that you can sand it with a very fine sandpaper to give it a matte finish, or with a semi-fine sandpaper to give it a frosted look (here's one that i did with a frosted appearance):

hi, i've been lurking around craftster for a while and thought i'd post some of my work here.

i'd love to hear some feedback (criticisms are welcomed!)

my art is made using resin and wood and prints of my illustrations.
lately i've been focused on traditional tattoo style illustrations, but food is a common theme in much of my work (yeah, i like to eat)
