7  Re: For you.... leopoldo!!! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by mf_ochoa on: August 12, 2010 08:17:12 PM
Is very easy make it...

first u need to draw him in a peace of paper with the form u like and the size u wanna, and make a long oval to the bottom...
later make a sewing patter with the form that you make (make double)...
then start to put the ribbons making the form on a half heart in the begin, sew the ribbons...
then make another layer with ribbons... and so and so and so...
when u finished all the layer, iron the toy with a wet fabric for no burn the ribbons in the opossite direction that u sew...

make all the steps in the other side ...

now the hard step...  with hairgrip put togheter in the center all the ribbons, and put the to faces of the toy together with the ribbons face to face... now sew, but with very carefully that don't sew the ribbons, and leave an space withou sew...

turn over, and stuff him...

sew the part that u dont sew before

and voil u have a very cute porcupine!!!!

my english is very bad but i hope that u understand me... i left a picture i hope help u

I present to Leopold, a porcupine, I did  him for my best friend. He is the result of many tapes(ribbons) I had in my house and the fabric below is the protector of a cushion of a car. It is a green porcupine.

Thanks for looking!!!!!!!

10  Mi lindo error---My cute mistake in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by mf_ochoa on: July 09, 2010 11:36:32 PM
Odio comprar tela!!! en todas las casas hay un monton de telas que no usamos, y salimos a comprar generando un despilfarro de dinero, por eso cuando mi hermano saco para regalar unas camisas de eventos empresariales decidi hacerme un vestido... ((I hate buy fabric! In our homes we can find a lot of fabric that we don't use, and we go out to buy fabric spend our money, for that reason when my brother leave shirts of enterprise events, i decide to make a dress))

Pero cometi un error, al vestido no le agregue fruncido, pero resulto en un lindo vestido ajustado!!! ((But i make a mistake, i don't add ruffled, but it works in a cute tight dress)).

Antes...

Despues...

No se ve en la imagen, pero realmente tiene capas ((in the picture don't see, but it has layers))

Este detalle era del estampado de la camisa, me gusto y lo conserve ((This detail actualy is from the shirts, i like it and kept it))
