My fiance plays World of Warcraft, and while he was out of town for a few days, I whipped up this little doll of his character for him, using this tutorial:

I found an old lampshade at my parents house, and it just screamed "I need to be beautified!".
Unfortunately, I couldn't get the dirt stains out.
But, I got the idea for a yo-yo lamp shade in '100 Decorating Ideas' magazine, and this is my spin on it:
