1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: three generation afghan on: September 17, 2013 06:59:53 PM
Oh God....Your post got me all soggy eyed and wishing I wasn't so far from my mom and grandmas so I could squeeze them to bits.

My sadsack emotions aside, I absolutely love your afghan!  It's beautiful and so charming.  I always like a project with history!  I would hit This Rocks 100 times if I were able!
2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Impress Nail Bottles on: September 08, 2013 12:01:05 PM
Depending on your interests, how much time you might want to spend on it, etc., these could be turned into little specimen jars.  Maybe age them up a bit, so they look a bit more 'antique', and get/make miniature creepy things.

Or the complete opposite of teensy fetal pigs could also be some sort of super fabulous girl-style Christmas tree ornament... Tongue
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: DIY Stud earring holder on: September 03, 2013 09:08:45 PM
Those are super cute earrings!  What is the box from?  Did you make holder parts inside, or was that originally for something else?

So all of these posts look pretty old, but I wanted to add a newish yarn shop to the mix.  Littlelamb & Ewe in downtown Gresham has been open since December 2012, and it's my favorite in the area.  It's owned and operated by a super charming mother/daughter duo.  The shop itself has an awesome selection, they have all sorts of fun little 'specials' and whatnot, and frankly, the whole place is just cute as a button!  THEY EVEN HAVE A SHOP CAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Don't worry - she goes home with them at night. Smiley

If you're interested, they offer classes and lessons, and host a Tuesday morning, and a Thursday evening knitting night (some people show up just to hang out, others bead, crochet, etc...), open to whoever wants to show.  I go to the Thursday one, and it's chock full of fun crazy-ladies.

Anyway, sorry if this sounds like an ad for them.  I promise I am not affiliated, other than being in love with them haha.  I'm just excited talking about it, because it's such a fun, cute yarn shop!
6  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: few nail designs :) on: June 15, 2011 09:27:38 PM
THESE ARE INSANE!!!  I can barely paint my nails ONE color Sad  I would buy these for a lot of money (if I had a lot of money, and if they were for sale).

This rocks, btw. Cheesy

10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Ugly Souvenir Sweatshirt Redone on: April 09, 2011 05:14:57 PM
This is old, I realize, but I just stumbled upon it and I really like how it turned out!

By the way, I'm originally from Wisconsin, and I can assure you that Door County is the lamest place on earth.  Boring and very mom-style.  A sailboat shirt from there does not surprise me in the least bit Wink
