4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Air Guitar returns! on: July 19, 2006 06:56:27 AM
I found a pattern for a knit guitar in "New Knits on the Block" and knew that I had to make it.  Since my boyfriend plays bass guitar in a local jazz band, I modified the pattern a little (made the neck longer, 4 tuning pegs instead of 6) and he loves it.  In fact, the night I gave it to him he hardly let go of it.  Here it is, in all it's leftover-knitting-from-stash glory!

Please excuse the messy basement

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Yarrrrrr Matey on: July 12, 2006 02:50:14 PM
To celebrate going to Pirates of the Carribbean for my friend's going away to Japan party, I knit her a pirate hook:

Yaaarrrrrrrrrrrr!
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / My Grumpy bear t-shirt on: January 10, 2005 07:35:52 PM
So I got this idea from travtrav's grumpy bear costume (see featured projects) and here's my take on it!

Basically I took an $8 wal-mart t-shirt and a picture of grumpy bear (awh, so grouchy yet irresistably cuddly!) and made a pattern.  All of the other bits are made from old t-shirts and stitched on.  I'm now in the process of making my sister a Laugh-a-lot bear shirt!

Let me know what you think!
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / mp3 player cozy on: January 06, 2005 09:32:12 PM
Isn't it darling?

Now my mp3 player is cushioned, so clumsy ol' me won't break it, and insulated, because it's darn cold up here!

8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / My very favourite projects *grin* on: December 21, 2004 09:40:30 PM
Alrighty, here are my most recent projects... let me know what you think!
Sorry you have to link to the images, I have no idea how to put the pictures in

Turquoise toque - from Coats and Clark's Teen Spirit pattern http://www.coatsandclark.com/fun_and_free/knit_out_2003/lw1379.htm

Red Devil Hat - same pattern as above, but with the spaces filled in and horns... they were supposed to be kitty ears, but i thought they looked cool when they rolled in, so it stuck!

And finally, the "lamb" that I made for a friend... she saw the pattern in Better Homes and Gardens Simply Crochet Magazine and wanted a blue one, so here it is... it looks slightly more like an armadillo than a lamb, so it has been christened Lambadillo!

Update!  Here's everyone enjoying their gifts!
