2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Jointed Teddy bear with one eye on: January 22, 2011 08:39:42 AM
Hi,

I made last year a jointed teddy bear with one eye. One eye because i don't know why but the eye kept on dropping all the time for no apparent reason. So the teddy bear became a pirate teddy bear with a pirate hat. Now, i want to give this bear to someone special and i felt i had to do something with that missing eye. Should i make an embroidered patch to show that he is handicapped ? Do you have any suggestions ?

How people hold their work whyle they crochet ? I saw on youtube different ways. It seems that i have ti find my own way in wich i am confortable with.

6  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / First timer at a craft fair on: August 30, 2009 01:02:56 PM
I just participated to a craft fair and i think people don't want to pay for the work we are giving. I sold but not as much as i expected.

Also another related topic, i think that i should sell my own pattern on the internet instead of making the finished product.

What do you think ?

10  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Couple creepy cute crochet on: August 20, 2009 11:07:21 AM
I made the little married couple from the book Creepy cute crochet.
It didn't turned out how i wanted it. I think the broom is better made than the bride.
But that is my opinion.

For the bride i had an acrylic white yarn that didn't make great results. I didn't like working with that yarn. So i changed it fot the broom. It made a better result.

Thanks for looking.
