2  Jointed Teddy bear with one eye in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Digitalis88 on: January 22, 2011 08:39:42 AM
Hi,

I made last year a jointed teddy bear with one eye. One eye because i don't know why but the eye kept on dropping all the time for no apparent reason. So the teddy bear became a pirate teddy bear with a pirate hat. Now, i want to give this bear to someone special and i felt i had to do something with that missing eye. Should i make an embroidered patch to show that he is handicapped ? Do you have any suggestions ?

I made the one skein scarf from the happy hooker book. It took me awhyle. And it isn't perfect. I need more practice. My tension is not always correct.

How people hold their work whyle they crochet ? I saw on youtube different ways. It seems that i have ti find my own way in wich i am confortable with.

6  Couple creepy cute crochet in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Digitalis88 on: August 20, 2009 11:07:21 AM
I made the little married couple from the book Creepy cute crochet.
It didn't turned out how i wanted it. I think the broom is better made than the bride.
But that is my opinion.

For the bride i had an acrylic white yarn that didn't make great results. I didn't like working with that yarn. So i changed it fot the broom. It made a better result.

Thanks for looking.

8  Crochet necklace : I need feedback in Crochet: Completed Projects by Digitalis88 on: July 30, 2009 02:45:31 PM
Hi,

So, i have this french book at home with full of crochet projects. There was this necklace that i found interesting to do. It is a beginner's project. So it is not amazing. But i thought i could learn something about it. Now that i finished it. I don't like it. First the buttonhole i had problems with that. Any ideas on how to make a simple button hole ? Still, it holds when i am wearing it.  Secondly, the yarn. I think that i should not have used acrylic yarn for this project because i don't like the look it gives. Looks too much 70s to me. But what kind of yarn shoud i use then for this project ?

And also can someone explain to me how to finish a work in a professionnal way. When i change color, even though i make a knot and then cut, it always wants to not stay in place.

So i am open to critics. Don't be afraid, i need feedback. What do you think ?

I made this beret out of the pattern from threadbanger's show. It is my first beret i make so i am very proud of it. I have to show off. But what do you think ? Should i put more depth the next time i used this pattern ? Or is there another easy pattern out there for me ?

Thanks for looking
