I go to one of those fancy southern private schools, and am very familiar with this rich girl sundress phenomenon. Glad that you made some of your own! Don't feel like you have to be like all the preppy girls and wear frilly little dresses all the time, though!
Velcro was a smart choice.

patchwork those suckers together, then make cute little stuffed animals! use mismatched buttons and extra trim to make funky little dudes.

that's how I use up scraps, I'm like you and can't bear to throw anything away.
