1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Classic Robin or Modern Robin? on: August 05, 2012 04:22:02 PM
I'm a fan of the bright green Robin costume, as silly as it kind of is to wear bright colors at night when you're fighting crime, but I think your design fits best with the modern color scheme. BUT you could always compromise. If you had green tights in your second picture it would be like a less elf-y classic Robin, and I think the second color scheme would look good with green gloves or green details on the knees, boots, or mask. Any way you do it, you're getting the point across, so it's really up to how much you want to change it from the canon costumes.
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: It Came From The Deep ... I Mean, The Hoop!! (Tentacle Stumpwork Embroidery) on: January 16, 2011 08:30:37 PM
That is absolutely amazing! I'm definitely hitting "this rocks" and spending a few hours trying to figure out how to steal some of your amazingness for myself. Grin I didn't know there was such a thing as 3D embroidery but now I know I have to try it someday.

Also, this made me think: how cool would it be to have a giraffe head coming out of an embroidered tree? *wink wink nudge nudge*
