1  Eggy the chicky! in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by DeadGirl on: May 13, 2010 02:53:32 PM
Woah, it's been ages since I've posted anything! School has kept me very busy, but with finals out of the way, it was time to do something crafty again  Cheesy
This is Eggy! The pattern is from AmiAmour (http://www.amiamour.com/category/patterns/free-patterns/), and it's very quick and easy to make. You can't really tell from the picture, but I actually used a glittery yarn  Wink

2  Re: Summer is for... \../ METAL \../ - A Gallery of Hardcore Craftiness in The Swap Gallery by DeadGirl on: July 22, 2009 04:32:45 PM
I got my package from CartoonJunkie today... It's all so awesome! She really outdid herself, and I feel totally spoiled  Cheesy Now, less talk, more pix! (And I'm sorry the pix aren't that good, my camera is being goofy lately.)

It's Mini-Messiah from Candlemass! How ridiculously adorable is he? I was so giddy when I unwrapped him, I couldn't resist doing a little doom-dance with him  Cheesy (And he's surrounded by some of the candy CartoonJunkie very nicely included with him. There's a lot less of it now... but I blame Messiah  Wink)

Now Messiah is posing with an awesome felt Flying V guitar CartoonJunkie made! It's also a knitting needle holder, which makes it the coolest knitting needle holder ever!

And on top of all that, look at the great purse she made me! It's so cute, I'm dying to show it off Cheesy The skull has a nice note from CartoonJunkie on the back. And it's kind of hard to see, but she also sent a package of really cute banana stickers!

Thank you so much CartoonJunkie! You're an awesome swap partner  Smiley

3  Re: Creepy Cute Crochet-along? in Crochetalongs by DeadGirl on: July 11, 2008 06:49:12 PM
I finished another one! I really wanted to make the cyber zombie, but at the same time a friend told me I should make a bunny. Both of these ideas were bouncing around my head, and this is what happened...

It's a zombie bunny! No garden is safe!

I ended up leaving some of the 'cyber' elements off of him, so he's basically just a good ol' regular zombie   Wink

I never noticed this thread before, but everything is so cute! Well, so far I've just made Cthulhu, but I also have Nosferatu and a cyber zombie in the works.

As you can see, Cthulhu had a great time frolicking amongst the flowers  Wink

5  Knit Gnome Doll! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by DeadGirl on: May 21, 2008 11:52:05 AM
My mom has gone a bit Gnome crazy since the Gnome swap was started on here, so when I found this little guy, I knew I needed to make him for Mother's Day/her birthday  Smiley

His clothes are gray to match the scenery. What can I say? We live in Cleveland  Roll Eyes

Hanging out with some friends...

And apparently he likes to climb trees!

The pattern is from Simply Knitting's Irresistible Gifts to Knit.

Thanks for looking! Comments are always welcome  Smiley

6  King Diamond Doll! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by DeadGirl on: March 27, 2008 01:31:52 PM
Hello! It's been ages since I've posted a weird Heavy Metal doll, but I just finished my new favorite:

It's King Diamond!

Sorry about the crappy pic. The basic pattern is from the second Stitch & Bitch book, and the cape and hair were ingeniously designed by my awesome mom. This is a gift for my boyfriend, so I hope he likes Mini King as much as I do!  Cheesy

Comments are very much welcome  Wink

7  Yar, a pirate's purse for me! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by DeadGirl on: October 30, 2007 01:50:54 PM
Time to show off my new pirate purse! It was based off of ShannyAnn's awesome date bag pattern, (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=202488.msg2156415#msg2156415) but I made a few little changes. It looks a bit faded in the pic, but it's really a nicer color in person.

I'm not really sure why cats love crafty stuff so much, but Godzilla wanted to be included in the picture  Wink

Any and all comments are welcome!  Smiley

Thanks so much gerberagirl! I hope you get your pin cushion soon!

It's been ages since I've posted anything, but I've been playing around with Chain Maille and I thought I'd share what I've made! Hopefully the pix won't be too fuzzy  Tongue

Thanks for looking! Comments are always welcome  Wink

10  Cuddly thrash metal doll! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by DeadGirl on: January 14, 2007 05:54:17 PM
Any metalheads on here? I've never posted something I made on here before, but I'm just so very proud! I knit Mille Petrozza of Kreator!  Grin

He was pretty straight forward to make. I knit the doll, attached his hair, and embroidered his face and tattoos. Now he just needs a guitar... then he'll be ready to thrash!  Cool
