i love it! its such a cute simple idea and a great way to work with color. (i think i might try a few myself- im not really huge on jewelry making so this kinda simplicity is right up my ally) i would for sure buy it and they would display nicely with a bunch in different bright colors. i agree with the wonderfulness of the monochromatic scheme but trying other ways could be fun too. keep it up!
there's not much of a tutorial to post.. but i can give you some tips. the tunic and hat i made from some cheap green materiial. i made the most basic of tunic possible... a long rectangle with a hole in the middle for my head and sewn up on the sides. the hat was a triangle sewn up on one side. the ears and sword are from a costume shop. the boots and the light green shirt were new from payless and old navy respectivly. umm.. and 2 brown belts.. one for the sword and sheild to hang from. the sheild which is not pictued.. was made form cardboard, and paper mache. i them painted it using the manual from windwaker as a guide.
if you have any questions let me know. im going to use this costume again fro dragon con but alter it a little.
