11  Re: dit dit dit da da da... hat! in Knitting: Completed Projects by alicesonmarie on: July 28, 2005 06:31:59 PM
yay dorky hidden messages! this was my valentine's day present to my boy:

(he refused to have any distinguishing features posted on the internet- hence the chopped off head)
it says "i love you, travis dunn." in binary. only i made a mistake and put in an extra 0 somewhere and it says something like "i love &$*(#)@*$*Fji/s^(*(%^"  oh well. at least it keeps him warm.

12  handmade wedding invites in Weddings and Bridal Showers by alicesonmarie on: July 23, 2005 02:27:44 PM
these are the invitations i made for my sister as her wedding present. i was inspired by pippa cloud http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=21565.0 . i order the backings from paper-source.com and the paper from kinkos. the ribbon came from a big ribbon sale at micheals. the flower is a columbine which is the colorado state flower (which is where my sister lives and is getting married) the front image i found on a google image search and altered on photshop and the rsvp image i drew. the quote is shakespere it actually is not romantic in the context of the play but fits very well by itself.

rsvp: (i blurred my sister's address assuming she would not wanted it posted on the internet)

and a map we stuck in last minute:

14  Re: Another little shrug (now with pattern) in Knitting: Completed Projects by alicesonmarie on: June 28, 2005 05:27:19 PM
this is the first shrug ive ever done. i think next time i will  make it slightly bigger because it kinda tugs at my arms. i did a 2x2 rib on the edges also. this was a super quick knit and would be wonderful for last minute presents. thanks for the pattern  Grin

17  nintendo ds case (first pictures posted) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by alicesonmarie on: January 13, 2005 02:12:15 PM
i have made 3 of these so far this one is not my favorite of the 3 but the other 2 were given away without pictures taken first. one was with black courderoy and black satin. the other was with blue couderoy and t-shirt material also i used velcro to fasten that one and it worked alot better than the tie. ill try to get pictures of them but no promises.

if anyone wants a tutorial let me know.

the pockets fit both ds and advance game
