1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Geeky Swap Gallery on: March 15, 2014 06:36:34 AM
Can you say incredible??!  A TARDIS blue basket with two red hearts!!  If only I could work this magic with yarn!  But my favorite piece was JANE'S HAT!!!  So my mom wants it, my daughter steals it and wears it all the time (She's three, and also loves "Doctor Who and his Doctor Who Box!"  Now she knows TARDIS XD.  If ever I am sleeping in, she yells up the stairs various ways of saying 'mommy' until I answer.  When I question why I'm being awoken by a small set of lungs, she goes 'Mommy, Doctor Who is on!  Hurry, you're going to miss it!!') My buddy Alex wants one too!  Everybody loves my Jane hat.  But not more than meeeeee Cheesy

(Sorry on post delay.  I didn't get the hat for a day or two after it actually arrived, no one in my family tells me about mail and they put it in all sorts of places around the house.  Then I just wasn't able to get to the computer.  And craftster hates me on my phone Sad(( )

THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!!!!

Sent. And after seeing all those goodies in the gallery I'm panicking that my items are not good enough...  Shocked

I always feel that way because mine are so small, even though they're time consuming and have a high retail value :/

SO.  After snow, plenty of ice AND a car accident, I'm happy to say that my package is out today.  I'm so sorry that a combination of weather and accident delayed me.  Thank goodness my partner is awesome and super understanding!  I'm so bummed.  I've never sent late before Sad

I've decided, no more winter swaps.  Only the other seasons.  Because if the snow/ice happens, EVERYTHING shuts down.  We just can't handle it here.

Maybe we could extend the send date?  Wink wink, nudge nudge?  I wanted to run to the post office, but unfortunately the emergency shopping came first.  By the time I finished, there was already an inch of snow and plenty of ice.

Thank you Smiley  I already have quite a few pieces done, as I busted butt on it pretty early on, so I'm thankful for that.  Otherwise I'd be doomed!!

So I'm opting for the sending later option.  Because I like being alive Cheesy
I hope that the weather gets better soon and I am sure everyone is in favour of your sending late option. Stay safe, not worth it. I live in Ontario, Canada and we are used to bad weather and still people get seriously hurt or killed in snow storms by thinking they are invincible. Enjoy being housebound.

I will be sending a day late. I already let Spikefan and my partner know.

So I've already let my partner know, but I will probably be a little late in my send out.  We've been hit by a fairly large snow storm (especially considering my state doesn't actually know how to handle snow) and I am unable to leave my house.  All of my stuff is at my shop.  Which is 10 minutes away from my house, so it will take about an hour to get there if there's NO other cars on the road.  But then I would probably die.  So I'm opting for the sending later option.  Because I like being alive Cheesy

Geeze.  There's already a gallery!!  I didn't think crafting while doing...everything else was going to be this hard!  I might have to hold off on future swaps until I have employees!

Jumping into the thread.  Between running my own business (the kind with lots of bills each month) my three year old, and crafting, my brain is swamped.

I'm just glad my partner has a kid!!  She understands!  (Plus, half of my crafties will be for her anyway :p)

I am so, so, SO excited to be joining this swap!!  I haven't swapped in years!!  Swapping is like Christmas, but I can tell everyone else around me and don't have to keep the presents a secret Cheesy

Whoever my partner ends up being, beware!!  I'm super chatty and will get your likes/loves down to a T :p

I am so jealous.  Unless I fill the branches, my trees just look terrible!!  Your trees are always so beautiful.  I had an idea that I'm totally going to pm you, because there's no way for me to do it, so maybe you can!!!
