1  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Bulk Cooking Club on: September 10, 2012 08:48:19 PM
I am looking forward to joining in with everyone! I try to make bulk foods on the weekend to last a few days during the week. So far tonight I have made individual chicken breast to cut up for salads, and to make chicken salad sandwiches with. Also a pot of rice to make chicken stir fry with some frozen vegs as the week goes on!

6  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Gourds! Gourds! and more GOURDS!! a tutorial on: October 17, 2010 11:06:52 AM
Thanks for sharing your tutorial, it is great! I also learned alot. I never knew that the gourds took that amount of time and work. I guess I always thought they grew the way we see them at the store. And I can now appreciate the beauty and hard work that goes into them when I see them on display.

Once they are painted and sprayed how long will they keep?

Thanks again!   Smiley

Great tutorial! You make it look sooooo easy!  The rag rug in the picture is really awesome ( I can vouch for that, as I am pixieval's mom ! ) Now I need to get busy and empty out the t-shirts in the cedar chest! Great inspiration!  Smiley

I am so happy. My daughter and I just finished filling my boxes, and paid for shipping on the USPS website. Going to go drop off these boxes in the package container at the post office. It was a lot of fun working on this swap with my daughter, and I am excited to see if my partners will be able to use everything I send to them!
