I am thinking of making the washcloths in weekend knitting as christmas gifts and am wondering if anyone can recommend a nice, yet cheap, yarn?  I was looking at knit picks crayon, as the bright colors would make fun sets, but read on another post that it doesn't wash very well.  i dont want to give complicated washing instructions along with the gifts.  any ideas???  thanks!!

the house i live in has a huge halloween party every year, but this was the first year that i have actually lived in the house.  i took charge of the decorations with a halloween loving friend.  here are the results

we left the outside decorations up for the trick-or-treaters (sans knives) and have had several little kids kicking the deadman to make sure its dead.  i hope we arent giving anyone nightmares about dead bunnies!

I haven't had any luck finding a pattern that is the same shape.  Also, the patterns that I have found for long coats require 6-7 yards.  With fun fur being fairly expensive, do you have any suggestions for how to do it cheaply? 

I know that if I do the half white half black hair and dress in fancy black and white clothes with the red gloves and cigarrette holder, I'll pass for cruella, but I'd love to do the jacket too.  (my boyfriend will be a dalmation)

So, I had this great idea.  Then when I was researching how I was going to carry it out, I found an extemely similar product.  The main difference is colors.  Can I still do it?

my dear friend is to be wed next Saturday and i am throwing her bachelorette party the wednesday night beforehand.  since i will be coming from out of town, i cant host it at my house.  we plan to meet at a restaraunt for dinner then go drinking.  the thing that's hindering my plans the most is that i have never been to a bona fide bachelorette party.  most of my friends have just wanted to hang out with friends and not do anything crazy.  im pretty sure that this bride is hoping for crazy!  any ideas???  im sure you all must have been to some good parties.  also-my plane arrives at approximately 3 hours before dinner and i have to get my dress fitted in that time, so anything i do will have to travel well.  thanks!!

i've had hives for about a year now and have tried lots of drugs (prescription) to get rid of them but nothing is working.  so, i am going to try to eliminate things that commonly cause hives from my diet.  unfortunately, this includes refined sugar, preservatives, food colorings, and stabilizers (vegetable gums etc).  it seems like any pre-made items at the store contain at least one of these things.  anyone have any recipes that are easy so i can cook everynight?  also, im fairly active athletically, so i'm worried with this limiting diet wont give me enough calories to train.  thanks for any suggestions!!

the directions say 'k1, p1 for 22 rows' which i understand, but when it goes into the row by row decrease instructions it stops after row 18.  should i do 4 rows before starting the decreases?  or just do 18 rows?
