SO CUTE! Not something I would have thought you would have chosen, but it turned out adorable.

My name is Nicole, and I was raised in a craft store. Well, not really, but my house floweth over with crafting supplies. A little bit of everything really, but I'm best with card making and jewelry-ing. I've just begun dabbling in sewing, but not well yet. Plus I paint sometimes and love to take pictures.
My partner in crime is my mom, who is the reason my house has so many supplies in the first place. We just seem to collect things but don't know what to do with it. Hopefully we'll get some ideas here!

I have crafting supplies running amok as well. And yes, this is intimidating. But intriguing. But intimidating.
316  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Not so much a "what" as a "how" on: July 19, 2009 03:55:04 PM
I promised a friend of mine from work that I would make him a cape out of taco bell taco wrappers. Any ideas on how to do this so that it's sturdy enough to not tear?

I've seen a chandelier made with like a hundred hanging clear pens. It looked fantastic, and I only even noticed they were pens once someone pointed it out to me.

I keep just about anything that might someday EVENTUALLY come in handy for a project. For example, I have an old metal trash can lid, SEVERAL books of piano sheet music, and a TON of rocks I've randomly found.

Any ideas for any of those? I think my original intention for the trash can lid was to paint it and have it as yard art, and the rocks were supposed to somehow be made into jewelery, but I have no idea how.
