1  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / Re: I NEED A NEW NAME! on: April 14, 2012 10:45:33 PM
You might be better to make sure you name it so people realize it's a craft fair/show.  The Emporium of Wonder and Awe Craft show might be good.  Otherwise people are not going to know what it is and not stop.
2  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / Re: Where to find vendors to invite to a craft show? on: April 14, 2012 10:43:55 PM
Try advertising on craigslist.  That's where I find most of my shows or word of mouth.  Most shows I do are school/church events and they either mail you a application and you mail back.  Keep the names of people and send to them year after years.

Were you ever able to make this?  My cats would love them, they love to bat balls around.
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: Is it safe to use glue on a pet dish? on: September 06, 2010 09:18:47 AM
I think it would be safe, keep in mind though that a lot of people put their dishes in the dishwasher to clean them though.  They might fall off with the heat of the water and make a mess.

Have you thought about setting up a 'hammock' between your tables and putting the monkeys in there?

Can I ask how much you sell your monkeys for?  I am making some for a craft show in October and have no idea what to charge for them.

My cat would go crazy over one of these!
Mine too!
How did you make it?  Are the 'legs' (tentacles?) filled too?

9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Best (Cheapest) Place for Red Heel Socks? on: November 02, 2009 01:05:47 AM
Where does everyone get their red heel socks for sock monkeys?  I just did a google seach and found a few places, but was wanting opionions.  Does anyone sell them brick and mortar stores?

A couple of the web sites had decent sock prices but were crazy on shipping charges!

Thanks!
