1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Left Handed Knitters?? on: July 07, 2009 07:04:19 AM
Hey there,

I am new to knitting, like 3 weeks new.  I have been learning quickly though.  I have some dumb questions and would like some advice.  First of all, I am left handed, which has made learning to knit sort of a pain.  My MIL is a lefty too so she showed me by holding everything in my right hand and transferring to my left hand.  Of course this made learning easier.  However this also made it nearly impossible to use tutorials for anything because I have to reverse everything around in my head.    Are there any actual left handed tutorials out there? Continental knit is not my thing, as it is still right handed.

Lastly, I have a stupid ?? but I can't find it (probably because it is such a no-brainer) but is a slip stitch just slipping the loop to the other needle without working it?
