1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Minnie Mouse costume!! **Edited to add Mouse ears and the full costume!** on: October 29, 2008 10:35:38 AM
Just thrown on a black shrug to keep you warm!  Well done for getting the shoes right, too... I went as Minnie Mouse a while ago, but couldn't find yellow shoes anywhere.

Thanks Smiley  I actually found the shoes at Wal-Mart for $9.  I kind of hated to buy a pair of yellow shoes that I'd never wear again, so I chose the relatively cheap ballet flats in hopes that I may put them on again for some reason or another. Smiley

thank you, everyone Smiley  I think I will definitely wear it again if I get the opportunity.  Sadly, it's getting cold so I'll have to put it in the back of my closet for a while after Halloween Smiley
4  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Minnie Mouse costume!! **Edited to add Mouse ears and the full costume!** on: October 22, 2008 01:41:08 PM
*Edit*  I added a picture at the end of the full costume in addition to my mouse ears I made Smiley  I decided to skip the gloves, because I would have taken them off after about five minutes.

I wanted an excuse to make a cute dress for Halloween, since it feels like I never get a chance to wear dresses.  This dress was made from scratch, entirely from my mind, and with the use of no patterns.  I'm really proud of myself because I planned this out pretty well and I'm really pleased with the dress.  Next I'm making the ears and gloves...

I added darts.  They actually turned out okay.

Side view.  It isn't perfect, but I can't wait to wear it.

The whole thing Smiley
