1  Two Nail Marbles (Pink and Blue Girly and Sparkly, Dark & Swirly) in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by reavesad on: April 27, 2012 12:46:39 AM
I researched how to nail marble and decided to share what I've done recently. Excuse the sucky pics.
I marbled my friends nails:

And then I marbled my nails the same night:

I edited the photos so that they're flipped, but when I post the link it still shows them th way they were at first  Huh Sorry about that.

Thanks for looking!

2  Paper Bead Jewelry (2 Bracelets and Earrings) in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by reavesad on: April 27, 2012 12:37:18 AM
Hopefully, this in in the right place...

I find that I'm addicted to making paper beads. Thus far, I've only been concerned with expanding my collection but my boyfriend inspired me to actually to start making things, so, here goes!

This is how I closed it off. Is there a better way to do it? (Ignore the chipped polish)

I doubled the cord on itself and used crimp beads after I knotted it.

This isn't true to color at all. (One day I'll become a better photographer lol)

And the matching bracelet. Ignoring the shadows, this one is true to color.

3  My Paper Bead Collection (Pic Heavy) First Post Ever in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by reavesad on: April 27, 2012 12:24:26 AM
I've crafted many things that I probably should have posted already, but I guess I never felt proud enough to make them my first post.
Lately, I've been inspired by Amelialune to make paper beads. I'm just learning, so they aren't perfect, but here's my collection so far.

I'll post them as thumbnails so this doesn't get overwhelming  Smiley

Black Striped

Pink Striped

Turquoise & Purple

Some of my favs so far

Green Striped

Purple & Black Striped

Brown Striped

Red & White Striped

Blue & Black Striped

Grey Scrapbook Paper

Purple Scrapbook Paper

White Wrapping Paper

I find that this is quickly becoming an addiction, so I intend to buy some paper bead rollers this weekend and hopefully I'll get a more polished result with practice.

Thanks for looking! Questions or comments welcome!

4  Re: Sweet and Easy Valentine's Day Swap GALLERY, SEND OUT 2/06/2010 in The Swap Gallery by reavesad on: February 10, 2010 08:25:58 AM
Internet has been down Sad But I can finally show you ladies the awesome package I received from Oops Creations. She spoiled me so much!!!

I'm still trying to figure out how to make everything as professional looking as you ladies do lol

The package (Had to show off the cute little hearts)

Everything before I pulled it out. The package was shaken up Sad The post office got the cookie crumbs EVERYWHERE)

That still didn't take away from the wonderful package Oops Creations sent me though!

Here's my Valentine:

She sent me a big batch of Shortbread Bars Topped with Snickers and Milky Way to share with my roommates:

Here's another pic of the bars, but with the recipe she sent for them too!:

The lovely Lavender Closet Sachet w/beautiful Geisha Print *drool* (I love everything Geisha!!!)

Wrapped Sweetness ( I couldn't unwrap it without showing the pretty decorations  Smiley)

Unwrapped, they contain 2 Bars of Natural Glycerin Soap:

A Beaded Heart Magnet:

A Felted Heart Garland:

Her first time felting (Sorry I don't have a better picture Sad)

Which I immediately hung up:

And three extras (I'm obsessed with corsets too) lol:

They're made of a type of fabric but have a backing to keep it firm. I'm going to frame them!
Thank you so much Oops Creations!!!

5  Re: Chopsticks to Hairpins in The Swap Gallery by reavesad on: September 03, 2009 10:12:45 AM
I got these yesterday, but couldn't post immediately.
You ladies should've seen the way my boyfriend looked at me when I started dancing after I seen my package lol

Here are my first set of chopsticks received from pulling_teeth!

These are the hairpins (Sorry it's blurry)

Close-up of the charms..
(I flipped these in editing but they appear to be doing whatever they want....

And here are the extras!

Lucky Kitty! She didn't want to photograph for me so this was the best picture I could get  Embarrassed
(Please excuse the hands)

A butterfly notebook that can be used to drafts crafting ideas!

Pulling_teeth totally stalked me on this one. I LOVE butterflies  Kiss and purple is awesome too  Wink Not only did she combine my new favs but I totally needed a new book to keep track of my crafts, I'm tired of losing the random papers I draw ideas on. I will be taking this with me everywhere.

Last but not least, these cute cards I can use in future swaps to write my messages.

Thank you so much I loved everything!!
