1  Monkeyface in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by niczilla on: October 27, 2010 06:14:43 PM
Here's Monkeyface from Castle Crashers! I've been on such a kick with making animal orbs.
So far, I've completed:
Rammy
Giraffey
Snoot
Monkeyface

Next up is Piggy!!

I had such a hard time with this guy though. Mainly because of the ears and getting them to line up correctly with his face. But overall, it was worth the effort. He stands 4 1/2" tall and 7" wide. Considerably smaller than I was hoping for.

Enjoy!

(The last picture is kinda awkward, but its Rammy turned on his side so you can see the little feet! Cheesy)

Rammy from Castle Crashers! Hes my absolute favorite out of all of the animal orbs, so obviously I had to crochet him.

Its kinda hard to see, but he does have his little beard! Its soft and fuzzy. :3

The horn was the hardest part because I didnt really have any other ideas other than to make a long tube and put a wire in it to create the spirally shape. But it turned out better than I hoped. ^___^

Stands 6 1/2 tall, 7 wide.

Now to make more animals orbs!

Edit:
I've finished Giraffey! He's a little smaller than Rammy, at 6" tall and 4 1/2" wide, but I love him nonetheless! The spots are what get me the most, mainly because they were fun to make and put on. :3

3  Nerdy collectables (now with Luna P!) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by niczilla on: April 22, 2010 07:51:31 PM
I'm going to be attending my first anime con! It's called Kuromi-con and it's in Portland, OR. :3 I'm suuuuuuper excited and will be in the artist alley! So, I started thinking of all the things I could make that people would want to buy, and the thought that stuck in my head was, "random objects from anime or video games that aren't very important to the story line, but people would know what it was from". AND SO! These are the things I've made so far:

Luna P from Sailor Moon

A paopu fruit from kingdom hearts

A heart container from the Legend of Zelda

Kappa (though he's not really from anything in particular)

Some other ideas I had were Luna P mini balls from Sailor Moon and more of my Cthulhus.
I'd be happy to brainstorm some ideas with you guys! ^___^

sooo, i just completed building my SUPER inexpensive light box (i'm hoping one day to make a better quality one). and these photos are my first i've taken using it!
i know i'm going to need to get a bulb that is less yellow so i won't be spending a ton of time in photoshop.

anywho, here's my narwhal! she's 10" from horn to tail. Smiley
i'm super proud of her!

8  Stumps in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by niczilla on: November 03, 2009 10:45:11 AM
Stumps is a giraffe that had grown tall when he was younger, but that growth spurt ended very soon. All of the other giraffe's tower over Stumps while he gets lost in the crowd.

9  kona-chan in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by niczilla on: October 21, 2009 01:41:24 PM
from lucky star! :3
she stands 11" tall, her eyes are painted green and her mouth is embroidered on.
she took me quite awhile to do, mainly because i don't know how to crochet pleated skirts. D; so i just stuck with an a-line one.
she has pipe cleaners in her arms and legs so she's poseable. Cheesy

i used this pattern to make her body: http://byhookbyhand.blogspot.com/2009/07/one-of-things-ive-really-wanted-to-do.html
