1  flower applique zipper pouches in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by marytini on: January 17, 2010 11:20:26 AM
I am getting in to applique more and more. Here are some new pouches I have made:

Upcycled wool pouch with a poppy. I made the poppy by burning the edges of a satiny fabric cut into a circle and sewed a button in the middle.

Houndstooth pouch with a rose. The rose is made from a strip of knit fabric that I sewed while folding it around and around.

I have seen mustaches becoming more popular, so I jumped on the bandwagon. This bag is made from an upcycled mens shirt.

I thought I had posted this before, but I don't see it, so maybe I am going crazy. Anyways, I made these for a friend's upcoming baby shower.

I made this for my sister's baby to be. Used this  tutorial http://madebyrae.blogspot.com/2008/04/free-itty-bitty-baby-dress-pattern.html from Made By Rae. It was my first time using piping and bias tape.
