1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: International Snack Swap 3 Gallery on: July 15, 2011 01:52:15 PM
Ugg Canada Post!
Last week I very happily found a box of yum waiting for me at the post office! Cheesy

This is the group shot.

Do you see all that yum??? I've never had combos before and while I thought they were ok my kids thought they were the best thing ever! Tongue

This right here was GLORIOUS!! Oh the joy of Almond Joy!

Oh and the Reeses Snack Sized bars. We have Reeses here but I have to say these tasted different than what I can get.

My partner crafted for me this travel utensil case which I think is perfect!! The only problem now? I'm going to have to make 5 more so everyone in my house has their own. Smiley

Thank you so much ybunnygirl!! You rock! Cheesy

This postal strike nees to end! I idn't get my package out before the strike and I've since opened my box to add more things here and there. My partner needs to be prepared for junk overload! I might need a bigger box if this darn strike doesn't end soon... Cheesy Cheesy

I would wait - maybe it won't last long. Better you hold on to your parcel than have it sitting in some warehouse.
Jerks, eh?!  Cry

I completely forgat that Canada Post was threatening to strike. Sad *sigh* This could be a problem if anyone here is being sent chocolate. I know, at the very least, parts of Ontario have been very hot. If anything has to sit it will surely be a big melty mess. Sad

Is the strike a for sure thing? When is it supposed to start?

I'm here! I'm alive! I'm slowly adding to what is amounting to an awesome box of yum! Smiley I just looked at the calendar and realized I haven't checked in for a bit. Sad I'm sorry.  I am puttering away and getting my package ready to go.

Have I told you that this is my most fave swap EVER!!!  Grin Grin

I'm here! I'm still figuring out what I would like to craft for my partner. That's always the hard part.  Cheesy Cheesy I've started to buy some goodies but I have the same problem of not being able to trust myself not to eat it all before it even leaves my house. LOL

Yennamuffin, is maple syrup considered a snack?
 Cheesy

Absolutely!! Actually, maple syrup is considered a food group.  Grin Grin

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume my partner will want Tim Tams. It's really the only Australian snack the rest of the world has heard of. And though I know you can buy TimTams in selected shops in the USA now, I bet they won't have the new dark chocolate limited edition flavours.

And if it turns out my partner wants salty snacks, well, I'll just have to eat the Tim Tams myself. Such sacrifices I make!  Cheesy

For some reason I thought Tim Tams were from England.  Cheesy I found them once in Ottawa and had to buy them to see what the fuss was about and oh my gosh!! They were so good!!!  Cheesy Cheesy

I also think it's great that you now have 2 No Diggity hoops. lol You should make it your thing. See what other people can come up with using the same lyrics.  Cheesy Cheesy

You are an awesome partner and I had fun!!  Grin
