Ugg Canada Post!
Last week I very happily found a box of yum waiting for me at the post office! Cheesy

This is the group shot.

Do you see all that yum??? I've never had combos before and while I thought they were ok my kids thought they were the best thing ever! Tongue

This right here was GLORIOUS!! Oh the joy of Almond Joy!

Oh and the Reeses Snack Sized bars. We have Reeses here but I have to say these tasted different than what I can get.

My partner crafted for me this travel utensil case which I think is perfect!! The only problem now? I'm going to have to make 5 more so everyone in my house has their own. Smiley

Thank you so much ybunnygirl!! You rock! Cheesy

I received my package a few days ago and all I can say is WOW! Just wow!!

Here's a pic iof thge whole shabang.

I would just like to say this package was made of WIN! Smiley Here we have a gathering apron ( A GATHERING APRON!!!), a slouch hat that I have a little bit of  funny story about, produce bags! Hooray!!,  and a very accurate reusable bag.Smiley

I realized while uploading the pictures that I didn't take any of the produce bags alone. Hmm.. and now I'm using them. Wink

Here are two pictures of the gathering apron. I have to say that I love love LOVE this apron!! Everything about it is perfect! The colour is perfect, the length is perfect, the size is perfect! Here it is down.

And here it is gathered. ready for gathering. Smiley

We just picked up our chicks yesterday and I'm looking forward to the day when I can go out to the coop and collect eggs in my apron. Cheesy

Now, on to the slouch hat. It's gorgeous!

Funny thing about this hat. I once tried to make a big hat from this exact yarn . LOL It turned out nothing like this. It turned out like a giant pot cozy or something.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy It was horrible and I was super sad that I wasted my pretty yarn on a crappy pattern. Now I'm less sad. Cheesy

Who would have sent me this fabulousness, you ask? Well using my fine problem solving skills I have deducted that it is murbeck!!!!  Grin

Thank you so much for being such a great stalker murbeck. Smiley You made this swap great!

The other day I recieved a package of awesome from jacquelined!

Here's everything out of the big envelope.

My kids were so happy to have little gifts just for them. Smiley

And here is what was sent to them.

There is a journal for my son and my oldest daughter, very pretty cross-stitched hair clips for my second daughter and a really need book about the environment for the baby.

Here are pictures of each of the kids enjoying there loot. Smiley They really really like what you sent, jacquelined! I'm lucky I even got these pictures because they ran off with their gifts right away.

Then there are my goodies!

The coaster are so fabulous I may never let anyone use them.  Cheesy Cheesy I adore the stickers ( and anything with skulls really Smiley ) and you have no idea how appropriate the wall art is right now. I put it on a shelf in my livingroom where I will see it every day.

Here's a close up of the wall art.

And this.. THIS is awesome!! I love this flower clip!! Even though my hair is temporarily back to dark brown I think this flower looks amazing! It's going to look even better when I dye my hair back to red ( which will happen very very soon!).

Thank you so much for being such an awesome partner and even thinking baout me while you were in Europe! Cheesy I love every last thing you sent!!

Now on to kjbaloo's package. Look at this!

Onsies for my baby!  Grin These are the coolest onsies I have ever seen! And that says a lot because I have some pretty cool onsies. Wink

Faerie! So pretty!

I thought this was genius and extremely cute. Smiley In case you can't read it it says I'm Mommy's Lil' Pin-Up Girl.

This one I was so very very very happy to see. I had my youngest baby at home and I am so proud of that and glad that my daughter can say she was born in my bed. Smiley

Thank you so much!! I didn't get a chance to get an action shot yesterday but I'm going to try to get one this evening before I put Violet to bed. I'll post what I take then.

So yesterday I was greeted with not one but 2 birthday packages! A2JC4life and kjbaloo sent me wonderful things!! Grin Grin I meant to post pics last night but I kinda ate too many Almond Joys and had a bad stomache ache... Embarrassed
First I'll show you all my package from A2JC4life.

Here's the group shot ( before I ate too many Almond Joys lol)

She found a couple things on my wist and made a matching set! She made a tissue holder, coupon wallet and sewing case. I just love the fabric she chose. Smiley My hubby asked me why I didn't put a few things in the sewing case before I took pictures. *headdesk* lol

TEAS! This is an awesome combo of teas. I absolutley love my tea and now I have a few new ones to try. Not to mention the Mothers Milk tea. I've been looking for that tea since before my youngest was born. *Side note: I would be more than happy to do a person swap with anyone willing to send me a few boxes of Traditional Medicinals Mothers Milk Tea.*

She also sent me a bag of little Almond Joys and the coolest pink skully shoelaces. You can see them in the group shot. Smiley Just to let you know, A2JC4life, I plan to put the laces in my work out sneakers. Cheesy

Thank you so much for the absolutely wonderful birthday gift!!!  Grin Grin

Ekka, what's a sac hat?

Sorry! I'm just catching up on this thread now. A sac hat is a rectangular hat with pom poms on the top corners. It think it's mostly used as a photo prop on new babies but it is amazingly cute on my baby! Cheesy Someone here made me one for her before she was born but now it's too small so I wanted one a little bigger.

Here she is in her sac hat shortly after she was born.

Look what I got in the mail!

Is this not the coolest mug rug you have ever seen?!?! Cheesy The tea cup was pure genius! I love the skulls in fancy hats. Smiley Smiley If you look closely you'll see there is even a tea bag string.

Thank you so much ShannonMB! You did a great job even for being hopped up on pain meds. Cheesy Cheesy I love my mug rug and it will get much use.

My package made it here.. finally! It must have had quite the adventure on it's what should have been a 4 hour journey to my house. lol

Here is the group shot.

Dra sent me a pair of mitts inspired by a pair she saw on the bus. Smiley They say LOVE and HATE. She also sent a reversable mug cozy. I LOVE the pink fabric BTW Dra. Smiley

For the drinkables she sent an amazingly yummy smelling Green and Fruity Rooibos tea. I can't wait to try this! She also sent 3 bags of chocolate tea. Should be interesting. Tongue There's also a recipe card for Cure All Tea. I'm definately going to try that out. This winter has been so bad for illness in my house.

Thank you for the package Dra! There is a little bit of an issue with the velcro on the cozy ( it came off Sad ) and the letters on one of the mitts is loose but I can fix those. I'm not sure what the hold up was with the post office but it finally made it here safe and sound. Smiley

10  Child sized scoodie for my daughter in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by EkkaGrrl on: January 22, 2011 01:03:33 PM
I've been wanting to make a scoodie for a while but I'm super lazy.  Cheesy That is until I actually made one. Now I'm on a roll!

Here is the scoodie I made for my 3 year old.I used a floral knit that my mother-in-law gave me ( I was actually not fond of it and she gave me A LOT!)  and a pink sherpa I had for cloth diapers. The scarf is shorter than I'd make for myself because long bits around kids' necks makes me a little nervous.

And her she is modelling the scoodie in her cutest model pose.  Grin

Now that I've finished one I want need to make more! I have the pieces cut out for a scoodie for my oldest daughter, my son has requested one, I think I'll make one for my niece's upcoming birthday and I want one for my cold head too. Smiley

*Phew! This is my first ever project post on Craftster. I've been nervous to post but I decided I just need to suck it up.  Cheesy *

** I need to add the link to the tute I used to make this. Giving credit where credit's due.Smiley http://indietutes.blogspot.com/2007/09/scoodie.html **
