1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Pink Cinderella on: January 18, 2015 09:31:53 PM
Thank you so much!
2  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Pink Cinderella on: November 10, 2014 05:34:19 PM
My daughter will be 3 at the end of November and her favorite movie is Cinderella.  She had a long list of costume wishes - Jessie from Toy Story was her second choice.  When she told me she wanted to be "pink Cinderella, the one that Gus made", I knew that it was the perfect choice for her.   I made the dress by altering Simplicity 2872.  I made all of the bows out of the fabric and I made the necklace too (it lasted about 5 minutes before she broke it).

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Lily's Diaper Bag on: July 28, 2011 08:16:16 PM
I made a backpack last weekend using this tutorial: http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/2010/08/back-to-school-free-let%e2%80%99s-go-backpack-pattern-tutorial/

I liked the pattern so much, that I decided to use it again for my little girl's diaper bag (I'm due in December).

I added the envelope pocket, 2 magnetic snaps, thicker interfacing, and a different way to make the straps.

I have more pictures on my blog: http://ourminiatureadventures.blogspot.com/2011/07/lilys-diaper-bag.html

Edit:AND I'm planning on writing tutorials for how I changed the backpack from the orginial tutorial @ SewMamaSew.

My tutorials are up on my blog!! http://ourminiatureadventures.blogspot.com/p/my-tutorials.html
