SilverMoon, I must be doing something wrong with my crochet then, it never looks this nice and even.  You did a great job.

I love the candles and that shirt!

After fighting with lighting and then with uploading, here are pics from the wonderful package I received from SilverMoon!

It's Sue!  And riding on her neck is...

Harry Dresden!  I love the detail that went into this dinosaur.  She has stripes and eyes and Harry.  It's all I can do to keep my kiddo from stealing her for his own.  I told him that he can't even ask until he reads the books.

Next up is Bob, completely with orange eyes.

This is really well done and has not one, but two pockets.  One for...

A stitch counter and a place for little things.

And one on the bottom to hold this great yarn and a few other surprises.  The yarn can be pulled out of the side of Bob's head.

Also in Bob's head, a Kangaroo keychain.  My kiddo wants to know if this is a bottle opener as well.  I thought I would ask before I go breaking it trying to open a bottle of ginger ale.  And that's the top of Bob's head.

SilverMoon also sent a shield bracelet!  She left it unvarnished so I could paint my own symbols on it if I wanted to.  It looks amazing and I'm quite happy with the shields.

Last, but not least, is this wonderful pentacle and twisty circle.  I love it.

Thank you so much, SilverMoon!  I do have a question, though, is this crochet or knit?  I can't figure it out!

I received today!  I really hope my partner likes her package as much as I like mine.  I'm going to wait to post pics until later today when I can hopefully get some decent lighting.  All the pics I took already are pretty dark.

I think I use a post-bound scrapbook.  It's great to have a name for it since I haven't looked it up yet!  I found it at Goodwill and it fits my need to have a 'book' and a 3-ring.  I can unscrew it and move stuff around and add paper if I want.  I also use photo corners which make it even more adaptable.

What did you use to create the design on the binder?  It looks wonderful.

I love those colors.  Such a great Winter package.

I haven't thought of that for a 3-ring binder bookmark.  What a great idea.

That is an awesome package.  And I must congratulate you on the choice of books too!  I love Sandman Slim.
9  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Dresden Files Swap (SIGNUP 7/24-8/07; SEND OUT 9/11) on: September 12, 2011 07:08:15 PM
And I sent, after a few minutes of trying to figure out why the post office machine wouldn't do international boxes.  Then a few more minutes of absolute panic after the grocery store post office said they didn't do DCs for international mail.

But it is well on it's way and the receipt is stuck to my bulletin board.

I hope my partner likes it.
10  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: A Very Merry Supernatural Christmas (Sign ups begin October 1) on: September 12, 2011 05:52:27 AM
I do so love Supernatural.  I'll have to think about this one when it comes up, I'm not sure if I want a large swap right now.
