Oh, that looks beautiful! It's my favorite pattern in Loop-d-Loop.
22  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Animal friendly fake taxidermy *tutorial* on: September 30, 2005 11:57:59 AM
That is pretty evil looking...

You can say it's a 2-headed chupracabra (I don't know how to spell it) rug! Those are kind of like evil goats, right?
23  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Re: Grave yard brownies on: September 30, 2005 09:40:24 AM
Those are great! My brownies are never perfectly square, because who wants to wait when warm brownies are so delicious?

And does one of the tombstones say D'oh!- 'cuz that's pretty funny.
24  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Weezer teacosy! on: September 28, 2005 11:12:30 AM
That is wonderful! For some reason Weezer and knitting and tea just seem to all go together. I dunno why...

Your bootie is adorable, but I really want the lunch you put up a picture of!  Wink

That is gorgeous and amazing. It would at home in an art museum.
27  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Mariah! on: September 26, 2005 08:05:28 AM
That is beautiful! Some day I will be brave and make Mariah too.
28  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Yes, it's a giant pink bunny- and I do mean GIANT on: September 23, 2005 01:22:25 PM
That is amazing...

But won't it be rather decayed in 20 years? I think it would be kind of sad to see a bunch of people crawling over a giant bunny that's been sitting out in the rain for decades.

But right now it's awsome!
29  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Are there any ballerina's out there? on: September 20, 2005 12:47:34 PM
I remember it getting pretty compacted in my pointe shoes. You put it in your shoes to give your toes a little cushioning.

I'd say try to felt with it, and let us know what happens!
30  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Pin-up girl swap on: September 01, 2005 09:40:40 AM
Wow!  crafty_dame and pamplemousse the stuff you guys made for each other totally rocks!  I love the pastie/ panty set and the mudflap girl cuff.  Was the cuff difficult to do?  I'm slightly intimidated by size 1 needles.  The talent abounds in this group!    Smiley

The cuff wasn't hard to do once I got over the fact that it's basically knitting with thread. It's the beaded cuff from SnB Nation but with the pattern for the Mudflap Girl tank. I couldn't work on it for long stretches of time because it was so delicate it took concentration, but it's all garter stitch so it's simple. I'll definitely make more of them sometime!

And jesintexas, I love all the stuff you made- you should never worry about being a bad swap partner!  Cheesy
