11  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Christmas Tree made out of Tulle on: November 26, 2015 04:59:58 AM
Yesterday I finished my new pink Christmas tree.

It's made out of a roll of 25 yards of pink tulle and little pink pearls.

It's very easy to make, you only need to cut the tulle in different lengths and knot the stripes to a wooden stick.

Afterwars you can sew some pearls and that's really all of it.

I love the dress and most of all the buttons at the back  Smiley

Thanks  Cheesy

The fabric is a bit thin, no too much really but you could see the shape of my bra underneath it so I decided to make a lining that would go from the neckline to 5 inches under the bust. I got the idea from an H&M top lined that way  Cheesy

I'm sorry if I don't explain correctly, my english needs improving.

No, it didn't  Smiley

This fabric is a 2 way stretch fabric and was all sewn up with a regular sewing machine

Hi again!

A few weeks ago I had to attend a 'formalish' dinner and had nothing to wear. A dress was too much so I decided to make a top which I could dress up with a pencil skirt or wear it casually with a pair of jeans and nice shoes.

I'm always making things in stretch fabric because to me, they are the most comfortable pieces of clothing  Cheesy

I decided to add a batwing sleeve, it's really nice but in pictures you can't appreciate how it falls.

I decided to 'semi line' it. Once I wear it you can't see where the lining ends, but on the dressform, as it has a black background it's pretty noticeable.

I'm really happy how this one turned out Cheesy
16  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Owl on: August 02, 2015 07:28:16 AM
I just finished making this Owl.

I drafted the pattern and sewed it with leftover pieces of other projects.

It has pockets to store things in it

Hi!
Today I want to show you one of the tops I made a few months ago.

It's one of my favourites because it's very cute and girly. I made my own pattern and I think I will sew it again with different fabrics, I would love one with the yoke in lace.

Thanks for your time.

Hi, the fabric is cotton Lycra. The composition: 93% Cotton, 7% Spandex/Lycra.

The bad thing is that it has permanent tiny wrinkles that are impossible to remove with the iron  Undecided
