4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Footprint Christmas Tree Ornament on: December 08, 2015 09:27:39 AM
Hello, here is a project I did with my niece and nephew the other day with things I already had in stock. Quick and easy! This would be cute for Christmas cards, decorations, or ornaments if you draw a string through the top.

* Watercolor paper
* Green acrylic paint
* Paintbrush
* Scissors
* Red card stock
* Mod Podge
* Hot glue gun + glue sticks
* Rhinestones
* Alphabet stamps + inkpad
* Glitter

Step 1
Paint bottom of kid's foot with green paint & have them step onto watercolor paper (let dry)

Step 2
Cut out the footprints and glue them to red card stock, overlapped in a Christmas tree shape

Step 3
Use alphabet stamps + inkpad to stamp and spell out the child's name

Step 4
Use hot glue gun to adhere rhinestones

Step 5
BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PART... coat with mod podge all over except avoid the area you stamped and the rhinestones. The mod podge can smear the ink if it is not set. Lightly sprinkle with glitter and shake off any excess

Step 6
Let dry, cut out the red cardstock in a Christmas tree shape. You can punch a hole through the top and draw string through if you wish to hang on a Christmas tree.
