1  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Jingly Jester on: June 07, 2009 10:27:21 PM
So, about two years ago, a group of my friends decided that for a summer project, there would be mass Renn Faire costume making. Among the six of us, only the three girls had access to sewing machines, so along with our own costumes, we were each picked a boy and also did his costume.

I had the wonderful task of constructing a blue and yellow Jester outfit which actually turned out to be fairly easy. I used three different patterns for the jacket, pants and hat and then used an internet pattern/winged it with the shoes. The shoes were forgettable five dollar things from walmart that i glued/sewed inside the fabric. The buttons were big bells which along with the bells on his hat made it quite impossible for him to sneak up on anyone.

He wore it all day, I was quite proud even if it does gap in the front.
