2  UNITED STATES / Minnesota / Re: duluth delightful crafty places on: March 15, 2005 03:27:13 PM
i like to go to Fabric Works in Superior--they have way cooler stuff than Yarn Harbor and none of the attitude. plus most of their classes are free or very low cost.

i am a little tired of the thrift stores, i think i go to them too often, but the fig tree in iron river and the abc shop in washburn wisconsin are both stellar in terms of quantitiy and price.

8  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: Brand tags on reconstructed items on: February 13, 2005 01:14:55 PM
if it's something that just comes blank, like an old navy tshirt, i sew my tag right over the old one, or remove the old tag first. sometimes i sew my tag near the old tag; i do a lot of vintage recon and tailoring and in that case, it's fun to know the history of the garment.
