Young snakes grow quickly, so I saw no reason to waste money buying a bunch of small to medium sized hides for my little corn snake when I had lots of polymer clay handy!  I experimented a bit and came up with a few hides that I like a lot.



The corn cob one turned out to be really hard to clean, so of course it got pooped on first thing.  The mouse one is MUCH easier to clean, so naturally he's left it spotless!

No action shots of the hides, but here's my bright pink corn boy!



Lots more caves will be coming as he matures!  He's about 24" long and a little thicker than a pencil right now, so he has a ways to go!
