Last summer for my Birthday I decided to go to our local SPCA and adopt a cat Well I ended up coming home with two because our SPCA was having a deal adopt me and my shadow. Which meant that you could get two cat the where paired together so I ended up getting two brother kittens that where 4 months old.  When I started to look for a large cat tree for them, I could not believe how pricey they were so I convinced my husband to help me build one out of an old wood shelf I had. That begin our long weekend build.

Supplies:
Wood shelf
Carpet glue
Carpet
Cardboard tub
Plywood
Rope
4 L brackets


Gluing all the carpet to the tubes and the wood shelves


My husband cut holes in each level of the wood shelf for the cats to get from the bottom to the top.


All the piece covered with carpet & trimmed with rope


I finished it off by wrapping all of the wood sides with rope for them to climb.

I just realized that I have forgotten to post pictures of my Sock Monkey that I made for round 5 of the sock Monkey/sock critter swap http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=409638.0 My partner puamelia asked for a mommy and baby monkey so this is what I came up with
