You've done a great job. And the shoulder straps look better than the halter.

I wish I had your patience...

I like the skull button. It's really cute.

I was thinking of sewing a pouch for my phone these days and thought to use one very simplistic pattern. But after I saw your pattern I will definitely try to sew something similar.

Great instructions!

You have every reason to be proud of your noblewoman. She is soooo beautiful. And have a gorgeous hair style.

And the jacket is fantastic on its own.

I like the black and yellow clutches the most. The addition of the flowers make them look more formal in my opinion. I can just imagine a dress from the same fabrics.

Congratulations on your first finished project! It looks super cute.

Great idea!

I'm sure your gifts would be the most original.
8  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Re: If a sewing machine is not used a long time on: April 07, 2010 03:14:18 PM
Thank you for the reply, Jenny.

I sewed a little today to see if the machine is running smoothly. Everything looked and felt fine, so I'll let the oiling for later.

9  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / If a sewing machine is not used a long time on: April 06, 2010 08:46:38 PM
The last time I used my sewing machine was maybe 6 months ago. I cleaned the dust out and oiled it, and haven't used it since then. And I wonder should I oil it now, before using it again, or the previous oiling is enough for now?

I'm afraid that too much machine oil would stain the fabric.
