1  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Completed Projects / Ugly Upcycled Yarn? Now called "Willy Wonka" on: July 24, 2009 08:11:33 PM
Here's a VERY UGLY upcycled yarn that I created from a VERY UGLY multi-coloured sweater.  It's sooo ugly, I think it's cute. Well, some of the colour combos are.

Edited to add:  So, I've decided to call it "Willy Wonka" 'cause it reminds me of large handfuls of candy sticks.  Cheesy

Now....what to make with it?

2  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Leftover Swimsuit Fabric Scraps on: June 09, 2009 12:56:38 PM
Hi!   Smiley

This might seem like a stupid question but does anyone have any ideas for leftover swimsuit/active fabric scraps?

My daughter is a gymnast so I'm swimming in pieces of spandex/swimsuit/etc pieces (some as big as 8" square  Huh ) and, since the stuff is so darn expensive, I hate throwing it out.
