Don't worry, I'm scared too (and I'm not 14 anymore!). I'm scared my crafting skills aren't good enough to other swappers', I'm scared nobody will want to swap with me since I don't live in the US, I'm scared my package gets lost... But I've already taken part to a few (non-crafster) swaps and I know things mostly go well. I've never been disappointed by what I've received and I hope I haven't disappointed anybody. Just put your heart in whatever you make for your partner, ask them questions about their likes and dislikes and I'm sure there will be no problems!

I'm a good girl  so I tried the method you mentioned earlier, clicking on the book review tag. It's not a bad solution but it brings up all books and not only the ones on the topic that interests you. For instance, i'm mostly into crochet so I don't really care about "Making your own soap" books. And vice-versa.

Let's say that this would be a "nice-to-have" feature rather than a "must-have" one since there are other options for those who want to look for a book review.

Hi everyone!

I've been registered to these boards for a few years but become only active now. Talk about procrastination! 

I'm 30, I live in Belgium with my boyfriend and my cat. Hopefully, the family will become bigger soon but for now, I still have a lot of time on my hands to craft!

I like knitting and crochetting most but I'm also into jewelcrafting and making my own postcards. I couldn't sew to save my life and that's one of the things I would like to learn this year! At the moment, I'm knitting a baby blanket for my best friend who's having a baby in May. I'm going to be the godmother so I wanted to have a very special gift for her (yes, it's a her: Alice or Emilie, my friend wants to keep the name secret until the birth!).

I am vegetarian and care a lot about environment and saving the planet. I love to cook with grains and organic food! I also like computer games and watching series like The Office (UK/US), CSI, Monk...

I'll try to find my way on the boards and I am eager to see of what you people are crafting. I've already seen awesome stuff while lurking!
