1  Re: Post Secret 9 (Send-Outs 7/10) in The Swap Gallery by Atrandom on: July 16, 2009 01:52:02 AM
I LOVE the zombie secret! Smiley

Here's the last secret I will be posting in here:

"I always think of the things I don't have instead of being happy with what I have. The moment a thing becomes mine I loose interest. Why am I never satisfied?"

I received the most amazing 2nd package from Nataluna. Honestly, she's so amazing, I don't even know where to start!  Shocked

First, a great reversible bag (is that how you say it?). She already posted about it here. I'm totally in love with the fabric!

Second, The three most amazing onesies for my little one. He/she's not born and already spoilt!!! The one with "French-Belgian cooperation" is awesome! Even my boyfriend was all "aaaaaw" and "ooowww". (He's NOT AT ALL the awww kind)

Third, a lovely letter box.

Fourth, a Eiffel tower keychain!  Grin Love it! I sent her Eiffel towers and she sent me one. I mean what French swap could be complete without a "tacky" Eiffel tower goody. I'm gonna wear it everywhere!

Fifth, a can of "Paris air" containing oxygen and polluting agents. LMAO! It's so cute and unexpected.

Sixth, a set of recipe cards on cajun cuisine. Hmmm spicy yummy southern stuff!

There's more to come. i couldn't bring everything from work!

As I said, I received 3 secrets yesterday.

First:

Front: "I feel pretty in black"
Back: "But I can only be happy if my mum accepts that!"

Yay! I received my first secret!

The back says:

Not about anything serious. Just about films I've seen, or concerts I've been to.
I think I just want to fit in.

I'm finally posting pictures of what Nataluna sent me! I'm sorry I'm so late but I was sooooo tired in the evenings this weeks that I didn't even bother turning on the computer!

Thanks again!

9  A pig and a pouch in Crochet: Completed Projects by Atrandom on: April 29, 2009 06:00:02 AM
I'm working on a bag project for my mum's birthday and on the "franais" swap things but I've still managed to find some time for two small things in the past months.

The first one is a "hundred yen pouch" (pattern can be found here). I made it for a coworker who's soon leaving the company. She's taking a trip to Japan just afterwards so I figured it would be a great gift for her!

The second is an amigurumi. I love pigs and piglets, they're so cute! The pattern is from Lions brand and is superduper easy to follow.

Lil' swirly tail!

 Cheesy I'm making this!

Just kidding of course... It's an Eiffel Tower made of matches! I wouldn't have the patience, nor the glue!
