Wow I haven't been on here for a while.....I'm in the featured projects...yay!!  Thanks for all your replies!   Here's the answers to some of your questions....

heartcore jen - The records are attached to the stems with hot glue.  Just put a big glob of it on there and stick them together.  It works really well.....mine have stayed on for a couple months now.  I hope this helps!

murdermebeautiful -http://alceria.net/recordbowl/  This gives pretty clear instructions....just use a smaller bowl. After the records are done just hot glue the stem on.  Have fun!
3  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Purse Swap (Sign up by Jan 30, 2005, Send by Feb. 13, 2005) on: January 17, 2005 08:13:48 PM
I'm really interrested, but I've never done a swap before.  Could you maybe give me some more info??  Are you supposed to make something especially for the person you are swapping with, or do you just have something pre-made and then someone will decide if they want to swap with you or not?  Thanks.

This was one of the best mistakes I've ever made!!  I was actually trying to make a record bowl out of 45's,  but it turns out that they were too small.....so I decided to make flowers instead.  I love them!!!  I just attached two green bamboo skewers to each one and added a leaf.  I hope you like them, too!!
