I borrowed two t-shirt reconstruction books from my sister in law last week. I had so much fun that I ended up cutting up several of my husbands old t's and a few of mine  I'm posting my favorites of the finished projects!

This skirt was a no sew! I used my husbands t's for this one. I liked the phrase.


This skirt required sewing only one straight line. I like it for a bathing suit cover.


The halter was a no sew as well.


Last but not least! The bikini! The top was no sew but the bottoms were not. Both were simple! However, since it's t-shirt fabric I will only be wearing this at home.

I really wanted to make my 3yr. old daughter a summer dress. So I made a pattern, went through my fabrics and came up with this! I put a pleat in the front...the bottom didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted it to, but it fits and she loves that mom made her a dress!

My little guy Mateo needed a harness and I thought why buy one when I can make one  So for the fabric I went into a box I have of clothes to be donated! I found an pair of lime green cord pants my daughter wore as a baby. I make the harness so I could slip it over his head comfortably. Next I needed some sort of ring so I found an old key ring and slipped it on!    It works and I think he looks adorable. I also made him a "I'm a tough guy vest" this made out of my old pants! Hope you like! Comments welcome!!!

This cake was made just for fun! My kids loved the cake. It was fun to make and to eat Comments welcome!

This is my first post so I hope I am doing this right  I made this cake last year on the 4th of July! I didn't roll the fondant out thin enough (rookie mistake ) I added clear vanilla to the fondant to improve it's taste. This was my first attempt at a tier cake. I used straws to hold the layers in place. All in all it tasted good and it was fun to look at
