I ordered a bunch of felted balls from http://www.ornamentea.com/FiberArts.htm a while ago. And finally I got around to use them;) I think it´s nice to make one really nice x-mas decoration every year, as it is extra nice to rediscover the nice pretty decorations every year. This wreath was made by using a straw wreath as a base.
Here´s how I did it:
Put 5 balls on your thread and lay them over the top of the wreath. Wrap your thread around the wreath and put the needle into the side of the first ball to secure it. Put 5 more balls on your thread and repeat the operation. Make sure that you fill the gaps between the balls, making sure that they´re not in straight rows. See the photo. I just love the daisy stitch, and it´s just perfect for making a shawl, as the increasing of the shawl fits the daisy pattern just great. I knitted this with double strands and US needles 15, so it´s a quick knit as long as you get your head around the daisies.

Start with 5 stitches. You knit every second row and increase 2 stitches in the beginning and the end of the row. The other rows you alterate between knit 1, knit a daisy throughout the row. Finish off with a knit stitch.The daisies are knitted like this:
Purl the first 3 stitches on the needle together, but DON´T lift the stitch off the needle. Wrap the yarn around the needle, and put the needle back into the three stitches. Pull the yarn back up and lift the 3 stitches off the needle. And here´s what it looks like close up:

The pom-poms are made by winding the double strands around a book (about 8 inches long, and then folding the winded yarn so that it has a loop in the middle that you can push down into the edge of the shawl. Pull the ends through the loof and tighten.

We´ve planned this for ages, and here it is: The Wirl-it lampshade!
Its made with big balloon, vaseline, cotton yarn, wallpaper glue and a marker.

Fill the balloon, rub it in with vaseline and start whirling the yarn soaked in glue.
We used both thick and thin yarn in two different colours.

Ok, viscose jersey is great for Summer - it´s cooling and cool to work with.
We´ve made three scarfts out of a 3 meter piece of fabric. It´s supereasy, noe sewingmachine or needles needed. Just a pair of scissors.
This first one we made by splitting the ends of the scarf into 3 even parts. Split the outermost 4 inches again into as many parts as you can to make the tassels.
We also made one scarf with three braids by simply cuttin the three pars mentioned above in three again. The last one had loads of braids.

My boyfriend has this really lovely sweater that makes him look very handsome. I thought my son would look cool in the same kind of sweater, and made one for him. This sweater is much lighter and fitted for the Summer than his Dad´s was. It´s a pretty easy knit!

Its just knit stiches pretty much the whole sweater. I started by making the body piece, knitting in the round. I casted off for arms and neck at the same time. I then knitted the arms, and assembled the whole sweater, before picking up stitches around the neckline to knit the overlapping collar. Easy peasy!

I found an amazing stool a while back, but it was super expensive and I wanted to see if I could make one myself.
Loads of yarn, stuffing and needles later I completed Puff Daddy (Puff means stool in Norwegian) and Puff Daddy´s Baby.

Just knit stitches. You make a long scarf shape and sew it together.
Filled with duves.
