I've still hears nothing of my package, so I'm assuming my partner has not received yet.  I mailed it two weeks ago today and I'm getting really worried.  The worst thing is that I'm not sure I packed the little world traveler in comfortable enough. I'm also worried he'll wake up from hibernation by now and be hungry and i didn't pack him anything to eat.

oh! I love all the matchboxes! I can't believe the amount off goodies we get to admire, i think this is one of the bigger swaps (in amount of swappers) . The great diversity of craftster is really on show here! And I really think all the matchboxes are beautiful in their own right, be they simple or intricate.

I'm going on a skiing holiday to Levi in Finland the first week of march. I was wondering if there are some craft haunts out there that I should visit? I hope I can make a daytrip to Rovaniemi also.

I'd love to meet any craftsters that hang out in that neighbourhood too!

I straight away thought: that's a yulia brodskaya.... why would she be posting on craftster? Great work, and in the photo's it looks really good, no smudginess to be seen.
I like to use paper with a subtle sheen as a background for my quilling, as the glue doesn't show so much on it.

I've heard you could use bookbinders glue or photoglue too, but I've never tried it. I ended up using woodglue on a piece that I did for the wall art swap last year. It dried nice and matte on plain paper.

But I'm kind of straying from the topic here..

I love it when a rather oldfashioned medium as quilling is used in such a modern piece!

Does anybody else feel overwhelmed by the possibilities? There is so much moomin stuff to be crafted. I've decided on my 2 point and on one of the one point crafts, but keep changing my mind about the other one...... Well, I guess if everything else fails I could always try for a job at the moomin marketing department 

OK off to stalk, there must be a clue somewhere which will tell me what to craft.

same here! I've reread five books so far. My problem is which idea to follow... luckily my sisters birthday is also coming up ..... Although I think I might overdose her. 

pfft, after sitting through the most boring job interview I've ever had (some people just don't have a sense of humor) I went home to my retro video player and watched some old episodes of the Japanese moomin animation. And now the theme song is stuck in my head......... maamamamaamama mam mam ma maama paapapa paapapa paa pap pa papa and so on...... how the fillyjonk am I gonna sleep now.

Hi, to all the doll mum and dad's out there on craftster!

I've got a question about doll making/ restoring.

My mother in law likes to rescue old dolls from the fleamarket and restore them to their former glory. Unfortunately she's not that good and often doesn't get past the making of new clothes stage. Which is also OK. She's got a big birthday coming up this year and as a fellow craftster I'd like to fill a box with tools and goods needed to restore dolls. I hope to find a few good tutes too, to encourage her to finish the dolls she's rescued.
Would you be so kind as to point out what are in your opinions good tutorials, essential tools and much used materials I can fill the box with?
