11  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / More Fused Glass Faces hot out of the kiln today... on: April 28, 2013 09:45:27 AM
More glass faces made with scrap glass.  I am on a roll. Fun to make. Though, some look like zombies!

12  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Fused Glass Face on: April 27, 2013 11:00:56 AM
This one is about 10 inches long and 6 inches wide at the top.
It looks a bit scarier than I had intended.  Maybe the teeth make it look like a zombie... Better luck next time.

Experimenting with a different design with scrap glass.  They measure about 1 inch wide and 3 inches long.

15  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Fused Glass Tiled Planters on: April 17, 2013 10:27:51 AM
A few more fused glass tiled planters.  They measure 6 inches tall by 4.5 inches wide and 4 inches deep.

I simply adhered the glass tile to the front of the planter with E6000.  Viola!
16  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Fused Glass small Planter on: April 09, 2013 08:29:16 PM
So, I had an idea.. I thought I would make a fused glass tile and epoxy it to the front of a glass planter that is about 6 inches square.  This is the result.  I am planning to use some pebbles in the bottom, then soil and a green plant. Then give it as a gift to a colleague at work.  Hope she likes it.  I might have to whip up a few more. Not sure why the photo shows up sideways.. Odd, eh?

More fused glass wind chimes.
The longest ting measures about one foot long and about 1 inch wide.
Fastened to a piece of wood found on Lopez island in Washington state.

19  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / More Fused Glass Wind Chimes Hot out of the Kiln on: February 17, 2013 01:00:52 PM

20  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Fused Glass Wind Chimes on: February 13, 2013 04:36:27 PM

A set of fused glass wind chimes HOT out of the kiln this afternoon.

They measure about 7.5 inches long per ting.
I attached them to a piece of driftwood I found on Lopez Island on the beach, here in Washington state.

I simply fused high fire wire into the glass to use as hangers.  Eye ring screws are screwed into the wood to allow the tings to dangle and move more easily.

The sound is quite nice.

I titled it "Odd Man Out"
